Mobile Grooming Trailers at Fun in the Sun 2026: A Weekend Celebrating Groomers, Dogs & the Mobile Grooming Industry

October 5, 2026 /

There is something special about getting the mobile grooming community together in one place.

This year, the team from Mobile Grooming Trailers headed to Orlando for the 2026 Fun in the Sun Grooming Show, where professional groomers, industry experts, vendors, and pet lovers came together for a weekend filled with education, competition, new products, and plenty of dogs.

For our team, it was an opportunity to step away from the shop and spend time with the people who make the mobile grooming industry what it is.

And yes — we brought a grooming trailer with us!

A Closer Look at the 7×16 Legacy Series

One of the stars of our booth was a 7×16 Legacy Series mobile grooming trailer.

This particular trailer was designed to showcase what is possible when a grooming trailer is built around the needs of a professional groomer.

The 7×16 layout provides room for a complete grooming workspace while incorporating professional equipment, water systems, power, climate control, storage, and other features designed for working on the road.

The show trailer featured a professional KANIS grooming setup, a 50-inch stainless steel tub, grooming table, wall-mounted dryer and vacuum, 75-gallon fresh and waste water tanks, onboard generator, 50-amp electrical system, air conditioning, heat, and even a private half bath.

But seeing a list of features online is one thing.

Walking through the trailer is another.

Why Industry Events Matter to Mobile Groomers

Events like Fun in the Sun give groomers the chance to see equipment and trailers in person, ask questions, compare different setups, and talk with other professionals who understand what it’s like to run a grooming business.

For someone considering a mobile grooming business, these conversations can be especially valuable.

You get to see how other groomers work, what equipment they prefer, what they would change about their current setup, and what they wish they had known before purchasing their first trailer.

Those real-world conversations are something you simply can’t get from looking at a product page.

The Dogs Were Definitely Part of the Fun

Of course, no grooming show would be complete without the dogs!

From beautifully groomed competition dogs to the four-legged visitors who stopped by throughout the weekend, there was plenty of personality everywhere we looked.

We took plenty of pictures along the way, and some of our favorite moments had absolutely nothing to do with trailers.

They were about the dogs.

These are the moments that make events like Fun in the Sun so much fun for everyone involved.

Building a Mobile Grooming Business Around the Way You Work

Every groomer has a different routine.

Some groomers work primarily with small dogs. Others specialize in larger breeds. Some need additional kennel space, while others prioritize bathing and grooming equipment. Some want a simple, efficient setup, while others want a fully customized mobile salon.

That’s why there isn’t one perfect grooming trailer for every business.

The right trailer should fit the way you actually work.

Our Legacy Series mobile grooming trailers are designed with customization in mind, giving professional groomers the ability to create a workspace around their equipment, workflow, and business goals. Standard Legacy features include a 7-foot interior height, 75-gallon fresh and waste water tanks, a 50-amp electrical package, insulated walls and ceiling, professional grooming equipment, and a Gen Max 9,000-watt inverter generator.

For groomers who want an alternative to traditional generator power, the Legacy Series can also be equipped with an exclusive Joule Case battery power system, providing a quieter power option for mobile grooming operations.

More Than a Trailer

A mobile grooming trailer isn’t simply a place to put a tub and grooming table.

It’s your workspace.

It’s where you’ll spend your working days, meet your clients, care for their pets, and build your reputation. The layout, equipment, storage, power, water capacity, climate control, and overall design can all affect how efficiently you work.

That’s why choosing a grooming trailer is such an important decision for a mobile groomer.

Whether you’re researching your first trailer or looking to upgrade an existing mobile grooming business, seeing different layouts and configurations in person can help you figure out what actually makes sense for you.

Thank You, Fun in the Sun!

We want to thank everyone who stopped by to visit us in Orlando.

We loved talking with groomers, answering questions, seeing the incredible grooming work happening throughout the show, and meeting all of the dogs that made the weekend even better.

Events like Fun in the Sun remind us why we love being part of the mobile grooming industry.

We’re already looking forward to the next one.
